As Vietnam’s first 94-hectare net-zero carbon coastal discovery park, the project covers a total land area of 94 hectares, with large-scale layouts of community parks, waterfront corridors and all-age recreational zones. The entire children’s play system is master-planned by the design team of 100 Architects.
Inspired by local cultural festivals, mangrove ecology and coastal fishing lifestyles, the design integrates diversified local elements including traditional lanterns, festive motifs, mangrove textures, grid patterns, sail-shaped sunshades, fishing rods and vessel forms.
The site comprises over hundred interactive outdoor play nodes, a centralized themed children’s playground and a parent-child nature study recreation area, fully covering playful exploration for young children, physical training for teenagers, and interactive family experiences. The total play area spans approximately 8,000 square meters.
Hongyang undertakes the full scope of shop drawing design、 fabrication、 international logistics and on-site installation.
To adapt to the local tropical marine climate, all structural components adopt customized 316 stainless steel with superior resistance to high salinity and humidity, paired with UV-resistant custom paint to withstand intense solar radiation. Adopting specialized craftsmanship, we achieved seamless and flawless curved surfaces for complex multi-faceted structures such as lantern installations. Overcoming challenges posed by persistent high temperatures during on-site construction, our team delivered high-quality results and accomplished a successful project handover.
