Riyadh Season is a national-level cultural and entertainment event under Saudi Vision 2030, initiated and supported by the Saudi Royal Family. The first edition was held in Riyadh from October 2019 to January 2020, making it the largest and most high-profile public carnival in Saudi Arabia’s history. Its flagship family and children’s entertainment zone is Winter Wonderland, covering over 200,000 square meters. It integrates amusement rides, interactive children’s experiences, light art, parades, live shows and fireworks. It serves as a premium outdoor entertainment destination for families and a landmark cultural tourism IP across the Middle East.
Manufactured in Shanghai, all artistic play facilities adopt custom weather-resistant and sand-proof formulations to cope with the extreme local desert climate, including high temperatures, intense ultraviolet radiation and large diurnal temperature differences.
This specialized treatment keeps thermal expansion and contraction deformation within controllable limits, adapts fully to desert conditions, and ensures long-term structural stability and durability. Customized paint is highly adhesive and UV light resistant, even colourful paint can maintain 5-8 years original colour without fading.
Twelve countries, forty teams, Hongyang is the only Chinese team. We work with many different teams from different countries, and finally hand over a quality and perfect project in due time to client, which attracts 11 million visits later. This is another overseas children’s play facility project after our man-made island art interaction facility project in Dubai,2018.
