Youhuang Cultural Park

Situated in Shazhou Youhuang Cultural Park within the Houcheng Subdistrict of Zhangjiagang City, this project features overall park planning and architectural conceptual design led by the international RDC design team. Rooted in the classic Jiangnan cultural aesthetics of white walls, black tiles, small bridges and flowing water, the park blends Republic of China-era architectural charm with modern neo-Chinese design language.
The park encompasses 28 functional scenic nodes, including the Shazhou Youhuang Museum, aged wine warehouses, and a manual brewing workshop with an annual production capacity of 3,500 tons. It organically integrates industrial heritage, contemporary wine-making techniques, traditional rice wine culture and corporate brand culture, forming a distinctive cultural and industrial landscape.
The overall master planning and architectural design of the park are delivered by Retail Design Collaborative (RDC), a top-tier international architectural firm based in the United States. the project has won multiple authoritative global awards, including the AIA American Institute of Architects Award and Architizer A+Awards
Hongyang is responsible for the shop drawings design, fabrication, transportation and on-site installation of all play facilities. Featuring complex multi-curved surfaces, the bionic facilities are constructed with fiberglass-reinforced plastic integrated with metal lining. With bespoke finishing paint and exquisite craftsmanship, we faithfully replicate the original design aesthetics and visual effects.
